Jibaro: What your console can't do

Jibaro won an Emmy.

It deserves more than that.

This short "film" isn't made on film. It was made on a computer.

But trust me when I tell you that you will not believe it was made on a computer. It will leave you questioning everything you thought you knew about CGI.

The Siren herself is the pinnacle of animation. The refraction, the scales, the twisting and swinging chains writhing like a ball of Hydra. She is impossible, improbable, but your eyes will struggle to see any tell of CGI. The most complicated, should be the most flawed, yet she sets the bar for everything.

Jibaro sets a standard for the future. Your console, your computer, can't run anything real-time close to the quality of Jibaro.

Jibaro is why we are not done, by a long shot, with home consoles. Jibaro is why cloud gaming will not replace hardware any time soon. Jibaro is our future.
