The New Nintendo needs Wii magic

Watching a 5 year-old play video games is a chaotic whirlwind of influencer chasing, friend pleasing, and genuine memory making.

Kids, more so than teenagers or adults, have a TREMENDOUS amount of energy. They need to move. Minecraft is great and all, but a kid can only parkour for so long.

ARMS is one of the few Switch games that figured out how to keep a kid moving. Watching a kid juke with their entire body really says everything to say about Nintendo keeping motion controls.

Nintendo needs more of these games. More movement, more whimsy, more catchy tunes, and more kid-friendly controls. Hopefully we will see a new Kirby's Dream Course with motion controls, or a Splatoon spin-off, in addition to ARMS 2.
