PlayStation Lifestyle is Bizarre

There once was a time were OST concerts were reserved for the Advent Children cosplay crowd. This, though, confounds me. PlayStation has been spending money, a lot of money, on organizing OST concerts.

This seems to not be taken well by PlayStation followers as 15.9 million, a chunk on Thanksgiving break, haven't liked the video over the past 48 hours. The like ratio is somewhere around 0.05% of the channels followers.

The odd part is that it was released on Thanksgiving, an American holiday, as if this were a highly-anticipated announcement for Americans. But "The Concert", which they are calling a "World Tour", only has announced European venues. It is a symphony, not BTS. Multiple symphonies can run shows in tandem.

PlayStation, at this point, is figuratively playing to an empty room. I am, surprisingly, not the only person concered about Sony acquring Kadakowa. Their brand faith seems to be slipping and PlayStation is using a playbook built on brand faith. It makes zero business sense.
