We don't deserve video games
Average game $70. Mario Kart 9 is $80. This game is $60. The NPC says:
4 factions with 4 different stories and multiple endings? That is 3 more than a TLOU. 3 more than Fallout 76. 1 more than Starfield. Sound cuts out, but Fallout 3 literally freezes because of a memory issue, still. Combat in Fallout 3: Swing weapon, shoot gun, VATS. No actual gameplay systems for physics. Just items that consume memory so they can jumble around. Combat in Atomfall: Kick, swing weapon, manage stamina, shoot loud gun or quiet gun, burning, poison, radiation DOT, shock damage, swarm enemies. Memory-efficient items that don't have unnecessary physics. Oh, and you can use them without putting them into your inventory. NPC says:
Atomfall uses crack squeeze method to reduce loading screens, but makes it interactive and not an actual replacement for a non-interactive loading screen. Atomfall features completely open exploration where the reward is new ways to complete the story. NPC says:
I hope the video game industry crashes because a large number of people shouldn't be spending their money on video games. They are chasing dopamine highs and have reactions like withdrawal when they don't get the high, that the game never promises. Atomfall isn't going to fix their depression. Atomfall is a fairly beautiful game that has a story that both echoes and deepens the 28 Days later scenario. The combat system is a copy of Dead Island 2 without the gore. It has a non-linear story with choices that impact the ending.
